By downloading or using FileShield (the "App"), provided by Dark Fusion Labs LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
FileShield provides on-device document analysis and summarization tools. However, the App is not a substitute for professional judgment. We do not provide legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. You are solely responsible for how you use the insights generated by the App in your professional workflows.
FileShield utilizes on-device artificial intelligence and language models to summarize and extract information. While designed to be highly accurate, these models can occasionally misinterpret data or generate incorrect information ("hallucinations"). You agree that it is your responsibility to verify any AI-generated summaries or answers against your original source documents.
To ensure maximum privacy, FileShield is built on a "local-first" architecture. Your documents and data never leave your device. Because we do not store your data on our servers, we cannot recover it for you. You acknowledge that if you lose your device, delete the App, or experience hardware failure, your data may be permanently lost.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dark Fusion Labs LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, or professional liabilities arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
